This website belongs to FCK Cancer, Oliver, BC, Canada. This page explains what information the site collects, why, and who handles it. Questions or requests go to fckcancer@telus.net.

When you send a message

The contact form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number and your message. They are used for one thing: so FCK Cancer can reply to you. Your message is emailed to FCK Cancer, and you get a copy confirming it arrived.

A copy of each message is also kept by the people who run this website for 90 days, so a message that went astray can be found and spam can be filtered out. After 90 days it is deleted automatically.

Spam protection

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a program, is sending it. To do that, Cloudflare looks at technical details such as your IP address and browser. Most people never see it.

Visitor statistics

The site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies and records things like the pages you view, roughly where you are and what device you use. It does not tell FCK Cancer who you are. You can block it with Google's opt-out add-on or your browser's privacy settings.

Who handles your information

Cloudflare hosts the site and protects it from attacks. Resend delivers the emails the contact form sends. Google provides the visitor statistics. These companies may process information in the United States or elsewhere outside Canada. Your information is never sold, rented or used for advertising.

Your choices

You can ask what information FCK Cancer holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing fckcancer@telus.net.
